iPad Specific Features
This iPad version -- as well as the iPhone and iPod touch version -- of the EveryMac app makes it simple to browse Macs by series, year, processor and more; lookup Macs by precise identifiers; filter Macs on category screens; filter exact details on individual Mac specs screens; compare Macs side-by-side; and save personal lists of your Macs and devices.
The iPad version of the EveryMac app specifically features:
- Two column navigation for quicker browsing and to maximize screen utilization.
- Thumbnail images, as well as identifiers, within flip down "Quick Specs" on category pages.
- Two column "Lookup" that displays the supported identifiers, matching systems, and the virtual keyboard simultaneously.
- Two column specs pages, along with the aforementioned filtering capability, to minimize vertical swiping.
- Expanded "Compare" functionality to view specs for as many as five Macs, iPods, iPhones, or iPads on a single screen.
- Enhanced "My Cloud" functionality to maximize screen usage and simplify the presentation of user defined categories and lists of systems.

Device Requirements
The EveryMac app for the iPad will work on all iPad tablets running iOS 5 or higher. All iPad models are capable of running iOS 5, but the original iPad and iPad 2 models did not have it pre-installed.
