Apple iMac G3/450 DV+ (Summer 2000) Specs (M7676LL/A*)

The Apple iMac G3/450 DV+ (Summer 2000) features a 450 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor, 512k backside level 2 cache, 64 MB of RAM, a 20.0 GB Ultra ATA hard drive, a slot loading 4X DVD-ROM drive, ATI Rage 128 Pro (AGP 2X) graphics with 8 MB of VRAM, a Harmon-Kardon designed sound system, and Firewire "400" ports packed into a translucent "indigo", "ruby", or "sage" (pictured) all-in-one case design with a 15-inch CRT display.
The iMac G3/450 DV+ (Summer 2000) is similar to the iMac G3/400 DV (Summer 2000 - Indigo/Ruby) released at the same time, but was offered in "sage" green as well as "indigo" and "ruby" and shipped with a faster processor, a larger hard drive (20.0 GB), and a DVD-ROM drive instead of a CD-ROM drive.
The iMac G3/450 DV+ (Summer 2000) also is rather similar to the iMac G3/400 DV (Slot Loading - Fruit Colors) that it replaced, but the "Summer 2000" DV+ systems use "indigo", "ruby", or "sage" cases instead of one of five "fruit colors" -- lime (lime green), strawberry (pinkish-red), blueberry (royal blue), grape (purple), or tangerine (orange-yellow). In addition to case color, the iMac G3/450 DV+ (Summer 2000) systems shipped with a larger hard drive (20.0 GB instead of 10.0 GB) and a slightly better video processor with the same amount of VRAM (8 MB).
The "Summer 2000" models also replaced the oft panned Apple USB Keyboard and "hockey puck" Apple USB Mouse with the Apple Pro Keyboard and Mouse.
Please note that Apple decided to refer to this line as the "Summer 2000" series, which refers to Summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
