Mac Clones (Mac OS Compatible Systems): Motorola

Motorola sold and sublicensed Tanzania-based MacOS-Compatibles worldwide from September 1996 to December 1997. On September 11, 1997, Motorola decided not to continue MacOS licensing or to develop new systems because "it could not reach an agreement with Apple on retaining a viable Mac systems business."

If you're interested, an interview with Dale Blankenship, about Motorola's then upcoming plans from July 1997 is still available.
