6 June 2016

This month, after more than a year of painstaking work, EveryMac.com is pleased to launch an all new "2.0" version of the site's Ultimate Mac Lookup feature.

Just like before, the latest version of EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup makes it straightforward to lookup Macs and Apple devices by Apple Order Number, Model Number, EMC Number, Model ID, Serial Number, and Intel processor number.

However, this new version is completely rewritten to not only enhance performance, error correction, and ease-of-use, but also to add literally thousands of identifier specific tips and details.

Identifier specific information ranges from simple suggestions to save your time, like an alternate identifier to use for a particular model for greater precision, to nuanced details that could include factory errors, repair issues, point of sale differences, and much more for a specific model.

It is hoped that you enjoy this major enhancement to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before. With your patronage of the companies that sponsor the site, EveryMac.com will be able to continue to serve you.

If EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup can't already pinpoint your Mac or Apple device by its order number, serial number, or another identifier, please send in its details. Non-personal information will be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.
