The Daystar/XLR8 MACh Speed G4 550 "Pismo" features a 550 MHz PowerPC 7410pe (G4) processor with 1 MB of backside cache on a 250 MHz backside bus. The MACh Speed G4 550 "Pismo" is installed in the daughtercard slot in the "Pismo" or "FireWire" PowerBook G3 models (G3/400 "FW" and G3/500 "FW"), and replaces the original daughtercard. You are required to ship your PowerBook to Daystar/XLR8 for professional installation. |
