Mac-Compatible Upgrade Cards: FastMac: G4/466 (iMac) Specs

<Picture Pending>

The FastMac G4/466 (iMac) features a 466 MHz PowerPC 7400 (G4) processor (450 MHz overclocked to 466 MHz) with 1 MB of backside cache. The G4/466 (iMac) is installed in the iMac daughtercard slot, replacing the original daughtercard. Following in the footsteps of Newer, PowerLogix, and Sonnet, FastMac has cleverly circumvented the ROM-issue regarding processor upgrades (see FAQ), by retro-fitting an existing iMac daughtercard with a faster processor. In fact, FastMac requires you to remove your daughtercard and ship it to them to perform the upgrade. It will be upgraded and shipped back to you for installation.
