Mac Upgrade Cards: Metabox

After MacOS-licensing was cancelled, Pios changed its name to Metabox, and diversified their product line to include Wintel, BeOS, and pOS systems. Metabox continued to produce some Macintosh-related products, including the joeCard series of upgrade cards, until April 9, 2001, when the company decided to focus on their "core set top box business".

For information on the Pios series of MacOS-Compatibles, check out the Pios section of EveryMac.com.
