Newer MAXpowr G3-PB

The Newer MAXpowr G3-PB 458/152 features a 458 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache. To circumvent the ROM-issue regarding processor upgrade cards (see FAQ), Newer requires you to mail in your existing PowerBook G3 daughtercard, which is retro-fitted with a faster processor and other components, and then shipped back to you for installation.
