The PowerLogix Blue Chip G3 466 features a 466 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache on a 233 MHz backside bus. The Blue Chip G3 is installed in the PowerBook G3 daughtercard slot, replacing the original daughtercard. PowerLogix dubs the Blue Chip series the first "true" PowerBook G3 upgrade, as you were not required to send in your original daughtercard.
