Mac-Compatible Upgrade Cards: PowerLogix: iForce G3 500 Specs

PowerLogix iForce

The PowerLogix iForce features a 500 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache on a 166 MHz backside bus. The iForce is installed in the tray-loading iMac G3 daughtercard slot, replacing the original daughtercard. Following Newer's lead, PowerLogix has essentially retro-fitted an existing iMac daughtercard with a faster processor. Unlike Newer, however, PowerLogix did not require you to return your original processor card to receive a rebate.
