The Sonnet Crescendo G3/PB 333/512k features a 333 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with either 512k or 1 MB of backside cache. In addition to a substantial speed boost, Sonnet claims that the upgrade can also extend battery life by 25% due to a low-power copper G3 processor. The Crescendo G3/PB is installed in the processor slot in the PowerBook 1400 series, replacing the original processor card. |
