The XLR8 MACh Carrier G4 MPe 350 is an "upgradable upgrade" card, which can be described as a processor card with dual ZIF sockets. Essentially, the card plugs into the daughtercard slot and more modern ZIF processor modules are plugged into the Carrier card. The XLR8 MACh Carrier G4 350 shipped with a pre-installed 350 MHz PowerPC 7400 (G4) ZIF module, and supports an additional ZIF module as well.
