The Apple Cinema Display
(ADC), released in conjunction with the Power
Macintosh G4/400 (2),
Power
Macintosh G4/450 DP,
and Power
Macintosh G4/500 DP
systems, features a 22-inch "letterbox" format (1600x1024)
active-matrix LCD display and an integrated two-port USB
hub. The Apple Cinema Display (ADC) is nearly identical to
the previously released Apple
Cinema Display,
but it ships in a slightly updated "crystal clear"
enclosure, uses an ADC (Apple Display Connector), which
carries analog and digital video signals, USB data, and
power in the same cable, and it supports an additional
resolution (800x512).
