The third generation iBook G4 models -- dubbed the "Late 2004" series by Apple -- are quite similar to the earlier iBook G4 models -- all are the same architecturally -- but some "Late 2004" models are configured with faster processors, larger hard drives, and more capable optical drives. All "Late 2004" shipped with AirPort Extreme (802.11g) pre-installed.
There are two versions of the iBook G4/1.33 14-Inch (Late 2004), one configured with an 8X/24X/16X/24X DVD-ROM/CD-RW "Combo" drive (M9627LL/A) and another configured with a 4X/8X/16X/8X/24X DVD-R/CD-RW "SuperDrive" (M9628LL/A).
