The Apple Macintosh TV, not to be confused with the modern Apple TV, features a 32 MHz 68030 processor, 5 MB of RAM, a 160 MB hard drive, and an integrated TV tuner in a stylish, black all-in-one case with a 14" color display.
The Mac TV is unique both for being the first Macintosh with built-in television capabilities and for being the first, and only, black desktop Macintosh to ship in North America.
Please note that EveryMac.com has categorized the Macintosh TV as a "Classic" Mac for convenience even though it is not branded as a "Classic" model. Essentially, the Macintosh TV is not a member of a "proper" family. However, as it is related to the LC 520 and Performa 520, some have indicated by e-mail they prefer to consider it a member of the LC or Performa family, although it is not branded as an LC or Performa model, either.
