The Apple Macintosh LC 550 features a 33 MHz 68030 processor, 5 MB of RAM, either an 80 MB or a 160 MB hard drive, and a 2X CD-ROM drive in a relatively compact all-in-one case with a 14" color display. With the exception of processor speed and configuration options, the LC 550 is identical to the LC 520 it replaced.
The consumer version of the LC 550 is the Performa 550 series.
