Apple Macintosh Performa 430The Apple Macintosh Performa 430 features a 16 MHz 68030 processor, 4 MB of RAM, 256k of pre-installed VRAM, and a 120 MB hard drive in a compact, easy-to-upgrade "pizza box" case. The Performa 430 is identical to the Performa 405, and accordingly shipped with a 12" Apple color monitor, but the 430 shipped with a larger 120 MB hard drive, as well.

The educational version of the Performa 430 is the LC II.

Please note that the picture is an LC 475/Performa 475 and the Performa 430 design is similar, but has a "flatter" front with a groove rather than a sleek curve. EveryMac.com eventually will swap out this photo with a more precise one.
