Apple Macintosh Performa 450The Apple Macintosh Performa 450 features a 25 MHz 68030 processor, 4 MB of RAM, and a 120 MB hard drive in a compact, easy-to-upgrade "pizza box" case.

Although the Performa 450 looks essentially identical to earlier models in the Performa 400 range, internally the 450 has significant improvements including a faster processor on a 32-bit bus, support for faster and more RAM and improved graphics capability. It has a different PDS slot, as well.

The educational version of the Performa 450 is the LC III.

Please note that the picture is an LC 475/Performa 475 and the Performa 450 design is similar, but has a "flatter" front with a groove rather than a sleek curve. EveryMac.com eventually will swap out this photo with a more precise one.
