The Apple Macintosh Backlit Portable features a 16 MHz 68HC000 processor, 2 MB or 4 MB of RAM, a 1.44 MB floppy disk drive and the option of a 40 MB hard drive (standard on some configurations) in a boxy portable case with a 9.8" monochrome active-matrix display.
The Backlit Portable almost is identical to the original Portable, but the backlit version has a backlit display and accepts different RAM.
