The Ultimate Mac Timeline is designed for a minimum of a 13" widescreen display (1280x800) running Safari on Mac OS X with a modestly sized dock. It will work on other browsers and display sizes as well, but those with other browsers may need to close the Mac OS X dock or not all features will be visible on a 1280x800 display. Smaller display sizes are not supported.

The underlying architecture of's Ultimate Mac Timeline is based on open source Simile Timeline technology, originally authored by David Francois Huynh at MIT and sponsored by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Special thanks to all the hardworking programmers and testers who have contributed to the development and maintenance of the Timeline project as well as Shawn Keeling, specifically, for his excellent Timeline "hacking" work.
