The Sonnet Crescendo G3/L2 500/1M features a 500 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache. Although it will run in other models at a slower speed, it will only run at 500 MHz in the Power Macintosh 5500, Power Macintosh 6500, and Twentieth Anniversary Mac. All versions of the card plug into the L2 cache slot and replace the existing L2 cache card.
