September 15, 2009

This update of EveryMac.com features complete specs (and a handful of Q&As) on the new video camera-equipped iPod nano 5G, faster iPod touch 3G, higher capacity iPod classic, and more colorful iPod shuffle 3G. Details on the latest Apple TV configuration have been added as well.

Additionally, the "By Year", "By Processor","By Case Type", and "By Capability" specification listings have been updated and the "Ultimate Mac & iPod Comparison" has been updated too.

For those interested in saving money, site sponsor PowerMax sells the new iPods -- and used ones -- free of sales tax. New iPod nano, iPod touch, iPod classic, and Apple TV models are offered with free shipping also.

If you missed it previously, be sure to see the MacOS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" Q&A, which covers 64-bit, OpenCL, and Grand Central Dispatch details, upgrade options, performance, compatibility, and more.

To be notified automatically of new Q&As, please use RSS or Twitter. In case you missed one, Q&As since the last major update include:

  • What are the "pros and cons" of each of the new iPod models? Which is best for my needs?
  • What are the differences between the iPod touch 3G and the iPod touch 2G?
