*The video in the original iMac G3/233 Original - Bondi (Revision A) can be upgraded from the default 2 MB to 6 MB via the VRAM expansion slot (the Revision B model shipped with 6 MB of VRAM standard). The video in all other models cannot be upgraded.
Do the iMac G3 models support a second display in "mirroring" or "extended desktop" mode?
All slot-loading iMac G3 models -- those with 350 MHz and faster processors -- except for the iMac G3/350 (Summer 2000 - Indigo) are capable of supporting a second display in "mirroring" mode (where the internal display is "duplicated" on a second display.
Tray-loading iMac G3 models -- those with 233 MHz, 266 MHz, and 333 MHz processors -- as well as the iMac G3/350 (Summer 2000 - Indigo) are not capable of supporting a second display at all.
No iMac G3 models are capable of supporting a second display in "extended desktop" mode (where the second display can be used as additional workspace) even with hacks.
