The Apple Macintosh Performa 636 features a 33 MHz 68LC040 processor, 8 MB of RAM, and a 500 MB hard drive in a compact desktop case. The Performa 636CD added an internal 2X CD-ROM drive.
The Performa 636CD -- and 636 apart from the lack of a CD-ROM drive -- are identical to the Performa 635CD, but the 636CD shipped with more RAM and a larger hard drive, but without the 15" Apple color monitor.
The educational version of the Performa 636CD is the LC 630 series and the business version is the Quadra 630.
