Like the MacBook Pro "Core Duo" 15-Inch models, the MacBooks have AirPort Extreme (802.11g), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet, a FireWire "400" port, two USB 2.0 ports, and optical digital audio in/out, along with video out capabilities (mini-DVI) that for the first time on a "consumer" Apple notebook officially support an external display. They also have the same "scrolling TrackPad", a built-in iSight video camera, an Apple Remote for use with Apple Front Row software, and the clever "MagSafe" power connector. Unique to the MacBook include a redesigned "flush against the bed" keyboard that does not touch the screen, a "no moving parts" magnetic latch that "catches without a catch", and a case design that makes upgrading the RAM and hard drive easy.
