The Sonnet Crescendo G3/L2 300/512K (1M) features a 300 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with either 512k or 1 MB of backside cache. TThere are two versions of this card, one for systems based on the Gazelle architecture, such as the Power Macintosh 5400 and 6400 (SKU BG3), and another version for systems based on the Tanzania architecture, such as the Motorola StarMax series (SKU B4G3). Both versions of the card plug into the L2 cache slot and replace the existing L2 cache card. |
