This update of EveryMac.com features comprehensive updates to the MacBook Air Q&A, MacBook Pro Unibody Q&A, and MacBook Pro Retina Q&A to cover all the changes to each series.

Additional info on the new MacBook Pro "Touch Bar" lineup also has been added. Complete details can be included once the notebooks start to arrive to customers and more details become available.

The MacBook Air Q&A answers "What are the differences between the current MacBook Air models?" and "How do you replace the battery in the MacBook Air?" along with dozens of other questions about the still current line as well as earlier ones all with easy-to-replace storage and batteries.

The MacBook Pro Unibody Q&A answers "How do you upgrade the RAM in the Unibody MacBook Pro? How much RAM does each model actually support?" and "Can you replace the Unibody MacBook Pro optical drive with a second storage drive? If so, how?" and much more about the finally discontinued -- but easy-to-upgrade models -- for those interested in one for long-term "legacy" use.

The MacBook Pro Retina Q&A answers "What are the differences between the 13" and 15" MacBook Pro Retina? Which are still sold as new?" and "How do you upgrade the storage in the MacBook Pro Retina?" in addition to many other questions about the still current lineup for those who want a notebook with a beautiful display and a full complement of ports.

Additionally, EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with more identifiers for the latest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models -- as well as other Macs and devices -- from hands-on inspection and submissions by helpful readers. Thank you very much to those who contributed info from recent purchases. It's appreciated always.

If you bought, or buy, a new MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, please send in your serial number. Non-personal information will be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.
