22 November 2016

This update of EveryMac.com features complete specs, identifiers, benchmarks, and global prices on the now shipping MacBook Pro "Touch Bar" models. EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated, too.

The affordable EveryMac Lookup API also has been enhanced. For trustworthy humans who would like to save time and use EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup without a captcha, there is a simplified bookmark format and a downloadable file for easy one-click access to captcha-free functionality.

For quality businesses, the EveryMac Lookup API now provides programmers access to our own stable internal "EveryMac ID" identifier. As the EveryMac ID refers to each model -- and only that model -- it makes it easy to let EveryMac.com "translate" whatever Apple identifier an employee or customer types in and then connect the result by EveryMac ID into your own system.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with additional identifiers for the latest MacBook Pro line -- as well as other Macs and devices -- from hands-on inspection and submissions by helpful readers. Thank you very much to those who contributed info from recent purchases. It's appreciated always.

For those interested in saving money on a new MacBook Pro, site sponsor PowerMax has the latest models available for order free of sales tax and with free shipping as well as early "Black Friday" deals on just discontinued models for savings up to US$150 off MSRP while supplies last.

If you bought, or buy, a new MacBook Pro Touch Bar model, please send in your serial number. Non-personal information will be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.
