The Apple Macintosh Performa 637CD features a 33 MHz 68LC040 processor, 8 MB of RAM, a 350 MB hard drive, and a 2X CD-ROM drive in a compact desktop case.

The Performa 637CD is identical to the Performa 636CD, but the 637CD shipped with a smaller hard drive and with a 15" Apple color monitor, as well. The 636CD, by contrast, shipped with a 500 MB hard drive but no monitor.

The educational version of the Performa 637CD is the LC 630 series and the business version is the Quadra 630.
